Upon entering Tugu Bali you will be impressed by its artistic ambiance. It is a hotel that boosts character and history. Rooms are super spacious and have total privacy, nature is all around wherever in the resort you are. Its location in trendy Canggu right on one of the most popular beaches cannot be beaten plus the complimentary daily high tea and the breakfast are delicious.

Nestled in the most famous hotspot in the trendy surfing village of Canggu, the location of the Tugu Hotel in Bali is unrivalled. The popular beach hangout ‘The Lawn’ is next door and ‘Old Man’s’, the most famous bar of Canggu, is across the road. The hotel is right on the beach, although to get to the beach you have to cross the gardens and a little beach road. Old Man’s Beach is the middle one of the 3 popular surf beaches in Canggu.

Rooms Tugu Hotel Canggu Bali
I stayed in the Dedari Suite and was impressed by what I found when I walked in. You have to pass through your private garden with fishponds on both sides to reach your front door. When I entered the room first thing I noticed was that it was super spacious and the massive bed in the middle of the room was majestic.
The room had total privacy and so did the private pool in the garden and the semi open bathroom.
It was the cutest bathroom I have ever seen and when you opened the windows you could look into the Koi fishpond.
During the hotel tour we found out that there was so much more to see in the resort. I got the feeling like I was walking around in a museum; art was everywhere. There is even an art gallery where you can actually buy stuff. The biggest wooden Garuda statue in the world and the biggest marble table in Indonesia are not for sale though!
The hotel picked us up from the airport, which was super convenient, though on the way back we had a confirmed airport transfer as well by email, but the hotel said that we had to pay extra for this service. It was a bit strange since it was confirmed by email, but the hotel did not change its point.
The hotel lately opened a new Japanese restaurant which is a must do in Canggu. The sushi is delicious and so are the desserts. Try the green tea cheesecake! The ambiance is fantastic. In line with the artistic hotel the restaurant is situated in an old Chinese Temple but the music they play is funky and trendy just like Canggu. It is a great mix and a superb restaurant to have a good night out and try their signature cocktails they are delicious!
The hotel offers a daily high tea with local sweets. You cannot miss that if you are a sweet tooth. They hotel is very flexible regarding the high tea and they serve it wherever you want: on the beach, in your room, at the pool or in the lobby. The same for the complimentary a la carte breakfast, which is delicious and can be taken at any time of the day.

If you are looking to find a place in the most trendy and upcoming area in Bali, then Tugu Hotel Bali in Canggu is the perfect place. This museum style resort will bring you at ease as soon as you walk in. Its perfect location with all the surf spots, popular beaches, trendy cafes and beach lounges make it a winning combination! Tugu Hotel Bali is simply the best hotel in Canggu. A lovely place which I would definitely recommend you if you are going to Bali.
