If you're seeking a luxurious yet laid-back hotel right on the beach in Dubai, the Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah should be on top of your list of Dubai beach hotels.
The unique selling points are the incredible rooftop pool, the prime beach location and the breathtaking unobstructed views from the room and balcony.
My stay here was a blend of comfort, style, and adventure with a dash of fun. Here's my full review of the Radisson Beach Resort in Dubai, detailing the highlights of my stay.
Smooth check-in & premium room upgrade
The check-in process was a breeze. There was a minor confusion regarding how I would pay for my stay. Either by card or Radisson Rewards points, but the hotel staff handled it with ease and resolved the issue quickly.
As a pleasant surprise, the front desk staff informed me that I had been upgraded to a premium corner room, offering stunning views over the Dubai Marina and West Palm. I couldn't have been more excited, what a way to start my stay at Radisson Beach Resort.
The Uzbekistan guy at check-in even recognized me from my Uzbekistan videos. Super kind guy, may be that is why I got the room upgrade.

Complimentary valet parking
As I had rented a car for my trip to the UAE, I was thrilled to find that Radisson Beach Resort offers complimentary valet parking for all in-house guests. This made my stay even more convenient, especially when returning to the hotel after a day out sightseeing in Dubai or strolling through the mall.
You simply pull up to the entrance, hand over your car keys and the valet staff will take care of the rest. When leaving, it never took more than 3 minutes to retrieve the car, making this a perfect service for anyone coming to the hotel by car. You can come and go as many times as you want, there is no maximum to the valet parking.
Perfect location for party lovers & beach enthusiasts
What truly sets the Radisson Beach Resort apart is its location. It sits right on West Palm, an area that has become Dubai's hotspot, I call it the Dubai's version of Ibiza or Mykonos. The West Palm beachfront is lined with trendy beach clubs, most of which host international DJs and offer daily beach parties. For those looking to experience the high-energy, beach-party vibe of Dubai, this is the place to be.
Staying at the Radisson Beach Resort will give you a prime hotel location for an affordable price.
West Palm also features a beautiful Boulevard with palm trees and lots of people jogging or strolling by. Towards the Norhtern end of the Boulevard, you'll find a shopping mall: Nakheel Mall.
It is just about 10-minute walk from the Radisson Beach Resort. Whether you're looking to shop or simply explore, the hotel's location is unbeatable.
Bustling breakfast buffet
Breakfast at Radisson Beach Resort is served buffet style, offering a wide range of options. From hot dishes, fresh fruits, and cold cuts, to pancakes, waffles, and even chia pudding, you'll have plenty to choose from. Although the breakfast buffet can get a little busy, especially during peak times, I always managed to find a table thanks to the efficient staff who constantly cleaned and reset tables.
There is no table service at the breakfast. Meaning you'll need to get your coffee or tea from the self-service coffee machines, but the staff is always on hand to ensure a smooth dining experience. Whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors, the vibe is energetic, with the views adding a special touch to your meal. The outdoor seats have a view of the boulevard below where in the morning you will see a lot of sporty people running.
Spacious rooms with incredible views
My room at Radisson Beach Resort was pretty spacious, but the best was of course the amazing views over West Palm. This is definitely is one of the unique selling points of the Radisson Beach Resort. The premium Corner Rooms just have unobstructed sea views.
The room also had a private balcony with a chair and small table, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee while gazing at the incredible scenery.

The room amenities are rather simple but adequate for a resort style hotel. There is a kettle, teabags, slippers and a safety deposit box.
While the room was comfortable, I would have liked a few more amenities like a coffee machine plus cups but considering the beachfront location and stunning views, it felt like a small tradeoff for the overall experience.

A slight drawback: noise from beach clubs
The only downside to my stay was the noise from the beach clubs beneath the hotel. The music from the clubs carries up to the rooms, and on weekends, it can continue until around 3:00 am. If you're a light sleeper or prefer a quieter stay, this could be a concern, particularly if you're staying on a lower floor. Sleeping with air plugs is recommended.
If you are a light sleeper you might want to go for a room that does not face the beach. Great thing is that these rooms are also cheaper. They don't have the amazing view, but they are much more quiet.
Chinawhite Sky Pool
One of the standout features of the Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah is the rooftop pool, managed by Chinawhite.
While the beds at the sky pool come with a cost (starting at around $80 USD per person), hotel guests can still access the pool area and enjoy drinks from the bar without having to pay for a sun bed.
The panoramic views from the sky pool are absolutely breathtaking. You can see the entire Dubai Marina all the way to Bluewaters Island with Ain Dubai, the biggest ferris wheel in the world. On your right hand side you see the huge residence villas at Palm Jumeirah.
From the Chinawhite skypool you have excellent views over West Palm and all the famous beach clubs below.
I went up to the Chinawhite skypool for sunset every day. When it as quiet the staff offered me towels and a sun bed for free and invited me to take a dip in the pool. They didn't require a payments. Soft drinks start from around $6 USD and beers start from $15 USD. You can also order food up here.
Chinawhite has a full on events calender. There is a DJ every day with pumping music.

Watching the sunset from up there is nothing short of magical. Highly recommended! The hotel also has a pool located on floor 1, next to the breakfast restaurant. The hotel pool also has good views with Dubai Marina skyline views. It was mostly pretty busy at the main pool, but were always a couple sun beds available.
Direct beach access & beach club
One of the best features of this resort is its direct access to the beach. The hotel offers complimentary sun beds and beach towels for all guests, making it easy to relax by the sea without any hassle.
From reception you walk out to the beach, cross the pedestrian zone boulevard and you walk right into the beach club of the Radisson Beach resort. Here you can chill, grab a drink, watch the sunset or simply enjoy the serene beach atmosphere.
Our final thoughts...
The Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah offers a perfect blend of luxury and convenience right on the beach. Great thing is that the Radisson Beach Resort is still affordable compared to many other hotels in Dubai with direct beach access.
The location right on West Palm can't get any more premium. Even if you don't like to party, just scrolling around the boulevard at night is already an amazing experience. There is free beach access from the boulevard 24 hours a day.
The Radisson Beach Resort staff was super kind and always there to offer a helping hand. For example the GM was there every morning at the breakfast going around the tables asking all guests about their hotel experiences and to see where they could be better.
