Dubai Marina, it’s one of the most popular districts in Dubai, and it surely is our most favorite part of Dubai. It’s where we fell in love with Dubai during our first trip in 2013, and it’s where we come back every time we are visiting Dubai. So it makes sense that we share one of our favorite places in Dubai Marina with you. On one of our latest trips we stayed in Rove Dubai Marina and this is our review.

Dubai Marina
Rove Dubai Marina is located in the most popular district, Dubai Marina. It has it all, a waterfront with Palm Jumeirah and Ain Dubai views, beachfront restaurants and bars, shops. It’s very easy getting around Dubai Marina with extremely good walkways for pedestrians.
All within walking distance from Rove Dubai Marina are the JBR Beach, Dubai Marina Mall and Promenade, Bluewaters Island, Skydive Dubai, Dubai Tram and Dubai Metro.
The Rove Hotel is located towards the end of the man-made marina. You can walk around this Marina as it is equipped with well laid out walkways. You can also take the pedestrian bridge right next to the hotel to cross the Marina, and be directly on the Walk in JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residences).
This part of Dubai Marina is still under full development with new buildings, hotels and roads. The accessibility of Rove Dubai Marina was still a bit poor in March ’22. Taxi’s would take at least 30 minutes extra to get away from the hotel, due to traffic. Hotel staff even advised to take taxis away from the hotel, to get away easier and quicker (and cheaper). So if you are visiting Dubai, and staying at the Rove Hotel, please do keep this in mind. But I am sure the situation is much better these days.

Rove Dubai Marina
The Rove Dubai Marina Hotel is a modern hotel with cool and fancy details. It feels good and comfortable from the first moment you step into this hotel.
It has a funky interior design, with locally curated pop-art displays and fun and funky signage. All areas in the hotel are open, fun and welcoming and make you curious about the rest of the hotel.
There is a common area for everyone to use with table tennis, table football, desks to get some work done, seats to relax a bit and a golf set. It even has a large television with PlayStation, how cool!
On the same floor there’s also a large and fully equipped gym and the outdoor pool. There are also creative spaces and meeting rooms. When we were staying at the Rove Dubai Marina, there was a Nikon photo exposition, which was really interesting.
Rover Room
We were given the Rover Room, which is a basic room with all you need. It has a large bed, and we had nice views of the newest Address Hotel. It has a nice bathroom. Good thing, shampoo, soap, shower gel and conditioner are bio products, that’s we value at Traveltomtom!
The Daily
The Daily is the restaurant located on the ground floor of the hotel. It’s your place to go for breakfast. It’s buffet breakfast, but you can also order some hot dishes from the menu.
It’s also the all-day restaurant of the hotel. It has a great vibe, just like the rest of the hotel, and certainly looks nothing like a regular restaurant.
It feels like coming home, with relaxed couches and loungers.
Just in case you leave early and can’t have breakfast, make sure to ask for a breakfast to go at reception. We did that on the day of our departure as we had a very early flight out of Dubai. The breakfast to go was a very well filled bag.
Roving Bus
Rove Dubai Marina offers guests complimentary bus shuttle service to JBR Beach, Dubai Marina Mall and DMCC Metro Station. Seats are available on a first come first serve basis. The first bus leaves from Rove Dubai Marina at 9.30AM and the last one at 8.30PM. You can find the current timings at the hotel.
They also offer a drop off only shuttle bus to IBN Battuta Mall and Mall of the Emirates, daily at 1PM.
Rove Dubai Marina Review
We stayed at the Rove Dubai Marina Hotel for 3 nights and absolutely loved the place. Dubai Marina already was our favorite district in Dubai, and with Rove now being there as well, it one of our favorite places to stay in Dubai, just perfect. When visiting Dubai, we advise to stay at least a few nights in Dubai Marina, you will love it, we’re sure! And when you do stay in Dubai Marina, why not become a Rover at the Rove Dubai Marina? It has relaxed and laidback vibes, exactly what you need on a Dubai holiday.
