Dubai has many interesting and fantastic highlights and tourists attractions, but one of the most known and impressive one's is the man-made palm shaped island Palm Jumeirah. Palm Jumeirah is often proclaimed the eight wonder of the world. Ever since we started visiting Dubai back in 2013, we have always wanted to see this impressive wonder from above, from another angle. For the daredevils there is the Dubai Skydive or a Dubai helicopter tour, but if that is a bridge too far there is now a fantastic alternative.
Finally, in 2021, one of Dubai’s newest tourist attractions opened its doors, The View at The Palm. Offering these impressive and different views of Palm Jumeirah.
About Palm Jumeirah
Palm Jumeirah is the largest man-made island in the world. It soon became a worldwide symbol of Dubai’s energy, growth and ambition. Ever since completing the Palm Jumeirah it is a vibrant, ever-growing residential, tourism and leisure destination. It’s a must visit when spending some time in Dubai.
In 2015 the island was voted as one of the world’s must see architectural wonders.
Fun Fact: Did you know that it is actually the shape of a date palm? The national plant of the United Arab Emirates. I actually didn’t even know this!
The Palm Tower
The View at The Palm is located on the top floors of the Palm Tower. It’s a true eye-catcher and one of Dubai's prominent landmarks located of course at Palm Jumeirah. The Palm Tower is a 52 story five-star hotel and residential development, right in the heart of the Palm island. The tower is one of Dubai’s most prestigious addresses, with 432 spacious and elegant apartments and a new five-star hotel, the St. Regis Dubai The Palm.
AURA SkyPool Lounge
Located on the 50th floor of the Palm Tower is the AURA SkyPool Lounge, the world’s highest infinity pool with 360 degrees views. It offers truly incredible views of the iconic Dubai skyline. It’s a one of a kind experience and one of the most unique things to do in Dubai.
SUSHISAMBA Restaurant
Going up one level from AURA SkyPool will get you to the SUSHISAMBA restaurant, on the 51st floor. Offering unobstructed and 360 degrees panoramic views. The culinary creativity is limitless at SUSHISAMBA with something for everyone.

The View at The Palm
Located on the 52nd floor of the Palm Tower, at 240 meters above sea level, The View is the newest hotspot in Dubai, offering panoramic, 360 degree views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf and beyond.
The View at the Palm is very easily accessible as it is located right at the beginning of Palm Jumeirah.
The entrance is on top of the Nakheel Mall. You will find the ticket counter on the second floor of the mall. Just follow the signs in the mall.
There are several ticket options: General Entrance, Next Level, VIP Lounge & Sunrise, you can also add Fast Track to your tickets. General Entrance will give you basic entrance to Level 52 and the 360 degree views. The only disadvantage of level 52 is that your views have to be enjoyed from behind the glass.
Want to have unobstructed views? Then you would have to get the Next Level tickets, as it gets you up to Level 54, where you can enjoy the views without glass.
We had the Next Level tickets, and went up to Level 54, waiting for the sun to set and to see Palm Jumairah and the Dubai Marina skyline by night. However, we were asked to leave after about 30 minutes, as Next Level is only available for 30 minutes per ticket. A bit of a bummer as no one told us about this rule when we got our tickets. There is also no information available about this on their website, pretty disappointing to be honest! So keep this in mind when you visit The View at The Palm. Time your Next Level visit well!
The Lounge is the luxury version of your visit to the View. It comes with a refined selection of beverages while you enjoy your views.
Your journey starts with a short movie and more information about the whole idea, the background and the actual creation of Palm Jumeirah. In Dubai, nothing is impossible! After this, you can make your way up to the 52nd floor where your journey of the Palm View really starts. It’s here where you can enjoy those breathtaking views.
Try to spot Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, the Dubai Eye on Bluewaters Island, Burj al Arab and Burj Khalifa. All the famous Dubai landmarks are visible from the View at The Palm.
The sunset time slot is a great time to go up, as you can enjoy the views by day and by night, highly recommended! But keep in mind that it is also a very popular and thus a very busy time to visit The View at The Palm.
Next to the amazing views, the 52nd floor also offers toilets, the VIP Lounge, a small souvenir shop and a café. From here, you can also access level 54, Next Level.
In the Nakheel Mall where you start your journey there is a Starbucks located right next to the ticket counter that makes a great coffee stop before or after your visit to the View at The Palm. Keep in mind that backpacks and large bags are not allowed to be taken up to the top, and have to be left at the luggage counter. You will receive a ticket and your luggage is safely stored. Of course there’s also a souvenir shop, you’ll pass through it on your way out.
We highly recommend visiting the View at the Palm. It gives you a truly unique view of the man-made Palm Jumeirah, like you have never seen it before. It’s impressive and breathtaking, and absolutely worth visiting. We would recommend getting the Next Level tickets, as it gives you even better and more unobstructed views, worth the extra money.
Traveltomtom’s Tip
When visiting the Palm Jumeirah, make sure you also visit The Pointe at the Palm. It’s a complete new area in Dubai, offering direct views of Atlantis Palm Jumeirah. Also, The Pointe is now home to the Worlds largest fountain show. Yes, a different fountain than the one in Dubai Downtown next to the Dubai Mall. The Pointe is full of restaurants and shops, and the monorail stops there as well, so very easy to get to. It’s a great place to spend an evening in Dubai.
