The Myst Dong Khoi
If you are just like me a fan of boutique hotels then this little pearl in the heart of Ho Chi Minh is the right place for you to crash. Its name already says enough, as Dong Khoi is the most famous and fashionable street in the city. This commercial heart of Siagon is situated next to the Saigon River and with the Opera House, the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Independent Palace all within walking distance The Mysts location is top notch. This fairly new hotel only opened its doors 6 months ago and is a great additional to the luxury segment of the hospitality industry in this vibrant city.

Rooms of the best boutique hotel in Ho Chi Minh City
The rooms totally live up to the expectation of being the best boutique hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The wooden furniture, the artsy details and the old historical phone mixed with all the modern facilities like an ultra modern toilet with a heated seat, an extremely comfortable mattress, a big desk and an excellent rain shower. The rooms are very spacious and come with a balcony covered in green plants and great views over the river. The best thing about the room was the huge outdoor Jacuzzi on the balcony, such a bless after a day in the bustling city.

Facilities The Myst Dong Khoi
The best boutique hotel in Ho Chi Minh City of course also houses a restaurant, a spa and a gym, but the best feature is the rooftop pool on the 13th floor. The views are one of the best in the city and a refreshing dip in the pool is much needed in the sometimes scorching heat of Ho Chi Minh city.
Breakfast for champions
One of my favorite things about the hotel was their incredible buffet breakfast. One of those breakfasts I am used to see in a fancy 5 star resort in Thailand. Every morning I would set my alarm in time to enjoy the great breakfast room with an incredible view over the river and the city.
Inspiring climate
The boutique style and interior of the hotel were surprisingly inspiring. As you know Ho Chi Minh City is an incredibly bustling city and it is hard to escape to crowds. The architecture combined with the green plants all over the place gave some corners of the hotel that extra inspiring feel to forget about the bustling city below and focus on your work.
Amazing service
When I checked in to the Myst I felt super sick and informed the staff about it. They were extremely helpful and offered to serve me a ginger tea in the room. The next day I even received a little letter from the Front Office Manager expressing his concerns and if there was anything they could do I just had to let them know. Being sick is one of the worst things that can happen while traveling and you only wish to be home. The Myst Dong Khoi did their utmost best to make me feel at home and helping me recover the quickest possible. They constantly brought water and tea to the room, brought me medicine and even offered to go to the hospital with me. Thank you for taking great care of me!
