Surely I could understand all the questions when I said I was going to visit Kurdistan Iraq. Most Western people think Iraq is one of the most unsafe places to travel, but I already knew for quite a while that a trip to Kurdistan was not really risky or dangerous. I guess going off the beaten path is in my nature and traveling to these kind of destinations makes me excited.
