Feeling at home and getting pampered in luxury from the moment you walk in until you check out. This very exclusive hotel with fantastic views over the bay blew my mind.

Travelling to Singapore has never been a favourite, although I am pretty intrigued by big cities. My first visit to the country was in 2009 and after that I had never been back. The reason? It is simply too expensive! I am not rich by any means and I think it is not worth spending so much money if for the same money I am spending here in 1 day, I can live a week in the neighbouring countries.
Almost 130 years ago the Raffles Hotel Singapore opened its doors to the public as a 10-room hotel and ever since it is renown as a landmark in Singapore. It was in 1899 when it became the first luxury hotel with electric lights and fans and became a magnet for many international guests. From the beginning of these glorious days in the past until now the hotel is considered as one of the most luxurious places to stay in Singapore.

With Singapore being one the worlds densest countries it might seem hard to get away from the bustling city. Recently I planned a trip to this city and was looking for the best places to stay in Singapore, but a little bit away from the city. I ended up in W Sentosa Cove on Sentosa Island.
