A couple weeks ago in my blog Celebrating In Bali I already announced that I was selected as one of the travel bloggers to join the Trip Of Wonders 2017 with the Indonesian Tourism Board. Time had come to travel to Jakarta to meet up with all the bloggers and start our trip around the country.

In my last weeks blog I already revealed I had some amazing news to tell you and now I can finally announce it. I had to keep it a little secret at first, but the other week I got what I was hoping for and I am happy to share it with you… #humblebrag

We were already half way through our Trip of Wonders Culture Trip and were about to board flight number 6 from Makassar in South Sulawesi to Palopo in central Sulawesi. We spent the night at the airport hotel and had to be presentable at 7.00 am that morning because we were getting up close and personal with the walking dead of Toraja. After our adventures in Java and Sumatra I was really looking forward visiting the central highlands of Sulawesi and its ethnic groups.
