Whatever time of year it is, I’m a real nature and outdoor fan. I love to be outdoors and explore new and familiar places. Being stuck at home because of a global pandemic has made me go out and enjoy nature even more.
I go out for a descent walk a few times a week in the forests and hills of South Limburg in the Netherlands. We had a long and pretty warm Autumn, but now that Winter has kicked in, my windproof softshell jacket and thin hiking trousers are no longer sufficient.

Fjällräven Vardag Lite Trousers
Hiking trousers are part of my top travel essentials. Wherever I go, there’s always at least one pair of hiking trousers in my luggage. Zip-off hiking trousers for Summer destinations or thick winter trousers for cold and snowy destinations.
Being at home most of the time now, the Vardag Lite Trousers truly added the outdoor feel to my everyday life. They are super comfortable lightweight and stretchy trousers, to wear while working from home, while doing your daily walk around the block, walking your dog or commuting by bike, they always work!
They have five pockets, two at the rear, two hand pockets and one thigh pocket, I always use those thigh pockets when travelling and exploring, so I love the fact that these trousers have one. The pockets are deep enough to carry your mobile phone or wallet with you.

These all day, every day trousers quickly became one of my favorites, I love to wear them when I go out for a walk during my lunch break, or even when I go out for grocery shopping, they’re just so comfy!

The Greenland Sweater totally stands for the power of simplicity. It’s a very basic sweater, but that is also what makes it so powerful and wanted.
It’s a very comfortable sweater, long sleeves and a loose fit. It’s the perfect sweater to wear when you go out on a long day hike, but it is also your perfect match for a long day relaxing on the couch.

I fell in love with the Fjällräven brand and products while testing this clothing package. I never had any Fjällräven products before, and now really wonder why not. This winter jacket is every travelers, or outdoor and nature freaks dream!

It’s a thick and warm winter coat, with a perfect fit. It has a comfy hoodie, something I welcome very much. Most of the times when I wear the hoodie of my coat, with the slightest touch of wind it blows off. With the Greenland Parka that certainly is not the case.
It has plenty of pockets, two breast pockets and two hand pockets. The hand pockets are actually lined with fleece, which is absolutely the best ever. It feels super soft and it warms your hands at the same time. The jacket also has an inside pocket to keep valuables.
The Greenland Parka is made of durable G-1000 Eco and filled with fluffy, warm down. It’s the down that makes this jacket exceptionally warm. It’s by far my everyday favorite for these coming colder months, and for more winters to come!

Fjällräven review
I was given this clothing package just before Winter arrived in the Netherlands. So I have been able to wear and test the clothing extensively over the past weeks.
As mentioned before this was my introduction to the Fjällräven brand and I have to say, I’m enthusiastic and very positive.
I can’t ignore the fact that Fjällräven products are expensive, but are they worth the extra money? Yes, I think they are! Those extra dollars mainly go to the quality of the products. Fjällräven clothing and accessories are functional, durable with a long – lasting character and timeless, and they are high – end and high – quality products.
With more than half a century of experience tackling the outdoors, there really is no need to look further than Fjällräven’s product range. They are the best in their segment, that extra dollar paid for these products really shows in the great quality and high performance of their outdoor gear.
